I have been reading up on a lot of mythology lately and am a big fan of mythological and dead religion art. So for a long time i have been wanting to do some art that is my own representation of one of these entities. Meet NYX, goddess of night. 
Of course in greek mythology she is usually represented as simply the substance of night: a veil of mist drawn forth from the underworld which blotted out the light. I opted for something a little more friendly. What do you all think? Is there any other gods of mythology you would like to see me represent? I also plan to draw the zodiac at some point and make a calendar of it very soon.
